The scheme "Ayush Oushadhi Gunvatta Evam Uttpadan Samvardhan Yojana" by the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India aims to ensure the safety, efficacy, and quality of Ayush medicines through providing financial assistance for upgrading pharmacies, laboratories, and regulatory frameworks to the intended beneficiaries, including government and private Ayush drug manufacturers and testing units.

- State Government Drug Testing Labs: up to ₹3,00,00,000 per lab

- State/UT Government Ayush pharmacies, cooperatives, or Public Sector Undertakings
- Private Ayush manufacturing units that are GMP-certified and have been in operation for at least 3 years
- Licensed Drug Testing Laboratories in the government or research council sector
- National institutes, universities, or hospitals under the Ministry of Ayush or state government (for pharmacovigilance funding)
- State Drug Regulatory Authorities or State Licensing Authorities (for regulatory strengthening component)
- Medical, scientific, or standards development institutions — government or private — for standards development funding
How to Apply
Invitation of Proposals: The Ministry of Ayush shall invite proposals from GMP-compliant ASU&H manufacturing units and licensed ASU&H Drug Testing Laboratories in the public and private sector through open advertisements published in national daily newspapers.
Advertisement Schedule: The advertisements shall be issued twice a year, first in the month of January and second in the month of July.
Submission of Hard Copy: The applicant should submit the duly filled application form and supporting documents in hard copy to the Ministry of Ayush as per the instructions mentioned in the advertisement.
Submission of Application: Application shall be submitted both in hard and soft versions (in PDF/Word files). The soft copy should be emailed at the designated Email ID of Drug Policy Section, Ministry of Ayush on the following address: dcc-Ayush@nic.in
