The scheme "Distribution of Seeds of more productive varieties / Hybrid varieties Seeds and fertilizer at subsidies etc., to Adivasi farmers in Tribal Area (TASP)" with a component "Power Operated Plant Protection Equipment" is introduced by the Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Co-operation Department, Government of Gujarat, aims to help farmers belonging to scheduled tribes and tribal cultivators residing outside tribal areas achieve higher production of agricultural crops and improve their livelihood. Through this scheme, subsidies are provided on seeds of more productive/hybrid varieties, plant protection equipment, and agricultural inputs to the intended beneficiaries. The scheme is implemented by the Directorate of Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Co-operation Department, Government of Gujarat.
