The "Farmers Accidental Insurance Scheme" introduced by the Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Cooperation Department, Gujarat, aims to provide financial aid to the successors of registered farmers in case of accidental death or disability. The scheme does not cover natural or suicidal deaths.

  • Accidental death: ₹2,00,000 paid to the legal heir
  • Loss of two eyes, two limbs, or one hand and one leg: ₹2,00,000
  • Loss of one eye and one limb: ₹2,00,000
  • Loss of one eye or one limb: ₹2,00,000
  • Natural deaths and suicidal deaths are excluded from coverage

  • The farmer must have a valid registered land record before the date of the accident
