The “Financial Assistance to Helpless Artists” scheme was launched by the Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities Department, Government of Gujarat. Under this scheme, monthly financial assistance is provided to artists and their dependents who are physically disabled, above 60 years of age, have a monthly income of less than ₹600, and are unable to sustain themselves due to age or disability.
