The scheme "Pre-Matric Scholarship for the Students of Socially and Educationally Backward Class" by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Government of Gujarat, aims to provide financial assistance to promote education among socially and educationally backwards students. Through this scheme, scholarships per annum are provided to boys and girls studying in Standards 1 to 10 in government and aided schools. The scheme is implemented by the Director, Developing Caste Welfare, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

Benefits

  • Boys (Class 1–8): ₹750 per year
  • Boys (Class 9–10): ₹1,000 per year
  • Girls (Class 1–5): ₹500 per year
  • Girls (Class 6–10): ₹1,000 per year
