The “Pre-SSC Scholarship for Scheduled Caste Students” scheme is administered by the Director, Scheduled Caste Welfare, Government of Gujarat. Under this scheme, scholarships are provided to Scheduled Caste students who are studying in Class 1 to 10 in Government/Grant-in-Aid Schools/Private Schools.
Benefits
- Class 1–5 (boys and girls): ₹750 per year
- Class 6–8 boys: ₹750 per year; Class 6–8 girls: ₹1,000 per year
- Class 9–10 (boys and girls): ₹1,000 per year
Who Can Apply (Eligibility)
- Must belong to the Scheduled Caste community in Gujarat
- Must be enrolled in Classes 1–10 at a government, grant-in-aid, or private school
