Project Sankalp is a Gujarat government industry-led skilling programme where companies train youth directly and are reimbursed by the government, ensuring training is aligned with real job requirements. Gujarat-domicile freshers aged 18–35 and existing employees from anywhere in India aged 18–55 can participate, with no fee charged to the trainee. The scheme "Project Sankalp" was launched on 15th July 2020 by the Gujarat Skill Development Mission (GSDM), Labour and Employment Department, Government of Gujarat. The scheme aims to revolutionize vocational skilling, making India the global skill capital with globally competitive skills and competencies. The scheme provides an industry-led vocational skilling program, enabling the industry to fulfill its demand for skilled manpower and providing youth with sustainable employment opportunities. The scheme is implemented by the Gujarat Skill Development Mission. The applications for this scheme are accepted online through the GSDM portal.

How to Apply

Online

Step 1: Access the GSDM Portal & Initiate Registration

To begin, the applicant should visit the Skills Gujarat portal. On the displayed login screen, the applicant must locate and click on the "Register". This action will prompt the system to initiate the candidate registration process, allowing new users to create an account.

Step 2:**** Complete Basic Registration Details

The applicant will be required to provide all the mandatory details in the registration form.
The system will generate One Time Passwords (OTPs), which will be sent to both the registered email ID and the mobile number provided by the applicant.
A verification screen will appear, where the applicant must accurately enter the "Email OTP" and "Mobile OTP" received.

Step 3:**** Confirm Verification and Receive Login Credentials

After entering both OTPs, the applicant should click the "Verify & Save" button. If the OTPs are successfully verified, a confirmation message will appear, indicating successful basic registration.
Subsequently, the "User Name" and "Password" for the account will be generated and shared with the applicant via their registered email ID and mobile number.

Step 4:**** Initial Login and Password Creation

Using the newly received "Username" and "Password," along with the Captcha displayed on the login screen, the applicant should log in to their account.
For security purposes, the system will then prompt the applicant to create a new password by entering a "New Password" and re-entering it in the "Enter Confirm Password" field, followed by another Captcha.
The applicant must click "Submit" to finalize the new password.

Step 5:**** Complete Full Registration

Once logged in with the new password, the applicant will proceed to the Full Registration section.
Here, they must provide all the mandatory details and upload the mandatory documents in the specified format and size.
The applicant must carefully read and then click "I Agree to the Terms and Conditions" to confirm the correctness of all the information updated during the registration process.
Finally, they should click "Save and Continue" to submit their complete registration details.

Step 6:**** Access Candidate Dashboard and Utilize Resources

Upon successful full registration, the applicant will be directed to their Candidate Dashboard.
From this dashboard, they can access various features, including the "TC Locator / KVK Locator" to search for the Nearest Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) or Training Center.
Additionally, they can click on "Interest Assessment Test," which redirects them to http://gujarati.careerguide.com/my-profile, to start and view their psychometric test report.

*No fee of any kind should be charged from the youth or beneficiary for the Project Sankalp training.
