The scheme "Scheme for Assistance to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME)" is an umbrella scheme launched by the Industries and Mines Department, Gujarat. It aims to empower the state's dynamic MSME sector, which significantly contributes to employment, GDP, and exports. Effective from August 7th, 2020 to August 6th, 2025, this initiative supports entrepreneurs and strengthens MSMEs, making them globally competitive. The component "Assistance for Quality Certification" aims to support Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in obtaining quality certifications to enhance product standards and compete in the market.
Benefits
- 65% subsidy on ERP system costs (software, installation, and annual service charges), up to ₹1 lakh
- 50% reimbursement of national/international quality certification fees (BIS, ISO, WHO-GMP, Hallmark, etc.)
- 50% of the cost of testing equipment and machinery required to meet certification standards
- Calibration charges for testing equipment are also covered
- Total assistance capped at ₹10 lakh per enterprise
