Details This scheme aims to supply self-employment to unemployed persons in urban and rural areas. Disabled and blind persons are also eligible to take benefits under this scheme
Benefits
- Bank loan up to ₹8,00,000 for industries, service, or business sectors
- Urban (General category): 20% subsidy — up to ₹60,000 for business, ₹1,25,000 for industry
- Rural (General category): 25% subsidy — up to ₹75,000 for business, ₹1,25,000 for industry
- SC/ST/Women/Ex-servicemen/Disabled (40%+ disability): 30–40% subsidy — up to ₹80,000–₹1,25,000
- Blind or handicapped persons: maximum subsidy of ₹1,25,000
Who Can Apply (Eligibility)
- Must be a resident of Gujarat, aged 18 to 65 years
- Minimum educational qualification: 4th standard pass
- OR: completed at least 3 months of training from a recognized institute in the proposed business activity
- OR: at least 1 year of experience in the same business activity
- OR: a hereditary craftsperson in the relevant trade
- No income criteria — open to applicants of all income levels
- Disabled individuals with 40% or more disability are also eligible
